He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Fred Gunter and Foy Lorine Marbut; his grandparents, Louis Farabee Gunter, Ann Stapp of Missouri, James Madison Marbut and Rosalie Steward; his wife Betty Jean Sanders; his children, Teresa Burke, Jeff Gunter (Lisa), Kerry Gunter and Kent Gunter (Tish); his grandchildren, Zachary Burke, Allison Burke, Clayton Gunter Cole Gunter (Harley), Naomi Gunter and Taylor Harris; and his friend Gene Howe.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Grove Oak, Alabama in Arlie's name.
