He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Jackson and Margaret Jackson; and his son Bradley Jackson. He is survived by: his children, Brandon Jackson, Kimberly Holland, Tyler, Andrew, Britney and Kaylee; his grandchildren, Savannah Jackson and Emmy Holland; his siblings, Kenneth Jackson (Julie), Rhonda Gautney (Charles), DruAnne Brown (Tim), Melissa Clemmons (Teddy) and Janice Jackson; and his close friend Jennifer Jackson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
