He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix "Benny" and Ann Watson; and his brother Neal Watson. He is survived by: his siblings, David Watson and Marilyn Reed (James); his sister-in-law Kathy Watson; his niece Laura Murks; and his nephews, Jason Watson (Amanda), Samuel Watson and David Malacki (Serena).
