He is survived by: his wife Sarah Jo Bruce Almon; his children, Bruce Almon (Tracey), Brenda Morton (Jim) of Sardis City, AL and Amy McCormack (Mike) of Birmingham, AL; his sisters, Ellen Almon and Linda Stephens (Gary); his grandchildren, Dr Daniel Almon (Ashley), Dr. Andrew Almon (Carrie), Samuel Almon (Chloe McLeary), Shaun McCormack (Lacy) and Katie McCormack; and his great grandchildren, Ian Thomas Almon, Ruby Almon, Avery Almon, Riley Almon, Sophia Almon and Carson McCormack.
