He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Pounders and Eddes Richardson Pounders. He is survived by: his wife Scharlon Barnes Pounders; his daughters, Tracie Pounders Fisher (Brian) and Tammie Pounders Kelly (Chris); and his grandchildren, Colton Fisher (Kaitlin), Tristin Fisher (Caleb), Blake Kelly (Elizabeth) and Ashley Medley (John). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
