As Sybil departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Sybil may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Sybil leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Marshall Elbert Goode; and her daughter-in-law Ellen. She is survived by: her children, James Goode of Florence, Daniel Goode (Tracey) of Florence, Michelle Brantley (Chet) of Thomaston, GA and Heather Hudgins (Dennis); and her brother Danny Clark. She is also survived by sister, Betty Wadkins AL; 9 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
A reception will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Florian Senior Citizen Center (81 St Florian Rd, Florence, AL 35634).
In lieu of flowers, Mom has requested donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Lauderdale County Christian Children's Home.
