It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Moody of Florence, Alabama, who passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Sandra departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Sandra. Though Sandra may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Webb and Geneva Webb; her husband William Lester Moody, Jr.; her son Jeff Cornett; and her sister Madru Poss.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Cornett, Denise Curtis (Michael), Les Moody (Leigh) and Thomas Moody; and her sister Linda Long.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery.
