She was predeceased by: her parents, Houston Lee and Mattie Lee; her husband Bobby Patterson; her son Steven Patterson; and her siblings, Helen Roberts, Ruth Richardson, Roy Lee and Houston Lee, Jr..

She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Moody and Sheila Pollitt; and her niece Ethel Winters. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
