He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Butler and Adine Butler. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Oliver Butler; his children, Shane Rice (Rebecca) and Mitzi Rice (Kevin); his siblings, Ray Butler (Sandra), Kathy McCormack, Doris Seale and Pat Butler; his grandchildren, Dakodah Rice (Katie), Rafe Rice and Cheyenne Nix (George); and his great grandchildren, Ryan, Alannah Roden, Finleigh Beavers and Stella Rice. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Jacksonburg cemetery fund, St. Jude, or the charity of your choice.
