It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Webster Jewett Jr. of Florence, Alabama, who passed away on April 6, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Jewett, David Jewett (Melia), Macresia Alibaruho (Kwatsi) and Sharonda Russell; his siblings, William Jewett and Robbie Doles; and his extended family, Andrew, Ray Russell Sr., Helen Russell, Virgie, Clifford Scott, Annie Russell of Houston, TX, Mary Smith, Jessie of Florence, AL and Sadie. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren: a host of great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home of Florence (1950 Helton Drive, Florence, AL 35630). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
