He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Murphy; his sons, Ronald L. Murphy (Brenda), James R. Murphy (Lydia) and Phillip D. Murphy (Barbara); his brother Johnny Wayne Murphy (Sue) of Summerville; his grandchildren, Stephanie Flanagan (Josh), Cassy Hill, Kesha Durham (Casey), Zack McDonald (Kelli), Savannah Michael (Isaac), Chris Murphy (Caroline) and John Murphy; and his great grandchildren, Brooke Crunk, Lexie Murphy, Karley Hill, McKenzie Hill, Ella McDonald, Archer McDonald, Mable Durham, Hudson Miller, Lincoln McDonald, Mila McDonald and Preston Michael.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (1950 Helton Drive, Florence, AL 35630). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
