We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2025, at the age of 83, Noma Doris Hendrix of Florence, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Herson and Reba Brewer; her husband Walter Hendrix, Sr.; her children, Mary Lindsey and Walter Hendrix, Jr.; her grandson William Lindsey; and her siblings, Nancy Hill, Gene and Roland Herston.
She is survived by: her children, Wendell Muse (Robin) and Thenia Allen; her grandchildren, Johnathan Muse, Holis Lindsey, Thomas Muse, Zummer Allen, Amber Hendrix and Steven Hendrix; and her great grandchildren, Conner, Caden Muse, Alicia Carroll, Olive Muse and Sebastian Edington.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (1950 Helton Drive, Florence, AL 35630). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Williams Funeral Home (1950 Helton Drive, Florence, AL 35630). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens (2601 Florence Blvd, Florence, AL 35630).
