She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Earl Kerby; her parents, Ross Vandiver and Katie Vandiver; her brothers, Ross Vandiver, Jr. (Carolyn), Truman Vandiver and Abraham Vandiver (Earnestine); and her brother-in-law Ralph Andrews.
She is survived by: her children, David Kerby (Kerry), Debbie Kerby Dixon and Dwight Kerby (DeaLynn); her sister Joyce Andrews; her sisters-in-law, Olene Freeman and Dorothy Vandiver; her grandchildren, Stephanie Tompkins, Jessica Purdy (Gene), Desiree Hanna, Karah Henry (Greg), Beth Riley (James), Justin Kerby (Brandy) and Jonathan Kerby; her great grandchildren, Devin Elliot (Isach), Anna Purdy (Logan), Kylie Carter (Ian), Tyler Reeves (Del), Andrew Kerby, Jessie Purdy, Nicholas Henry, Cadence Kerby and Jaxson Kerby; her great great grandchildren, Gabriel, Aurora and Ophelia; and her close friend Peggy Hines. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home of Florence (1950 Helton Drive, Florence, AL 35630).
