She was predeceased by: her parents, B. P. Lovelace Jr. and Madyline Rhodes Lovelace; and her siblings-in-law, Jean Rutledge and Bill Johnson. She is survived by: her husband J. W. Simmons Jr.; her children, Trey Simmons (Susan) of Florence, AL and Suzanne Simmons Duncan (Stuart) of Athens, AL; her sisters, Jan Fulmer (Jerry) of Florence, AL and Eleanor Johnson of Smyrna, GA.; her grandchildren, Wil Simmons of Florence, AL, Taylor Duncan (Kelley) of Vestavia Hills, AL and Abby Dagnel (Hunter) of Pike Road, AL.; and her great grandchildren, Bennett Duncan, Everett Duncan, Wyatt Dagnel and Graceyn Dagnel.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Church (2705 Co Rd 222, Florence, AL 35633). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery (2705 Co Rd 222, Florence, AL 35633).
