She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Lee and Doris Lee. She is survived by: her husband Bill Hankins; her son Bill Hankins, Jr. (Ali); her sister Debbie Lee; and her grandchildren, Will, Leelee and Christopher Hankins. She is also survived by numerous cousins and special friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Highland Baptist Church (219 Simpson St, Florence, AL 35630). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
