She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Elizabeth Nichols Willingham and Turner Hudson Nichols; and her half-brothers, Roy Willingham and Bobby Armstrong. She is survived by: her daughters, Lynn Jones Melson (Tim) and Kaye Jones Holderfield (Boyce); her grandchildren, Tyler Melson (Grace Ann), Ellie Lester (Clint), Emma Grace Melson, Robert Boyce Holderfield, III (Trip) and Turner Hudson Holderfield (Megan); and her great grandchildren, Lola Janis Melson, Maudie Melson, William Melson and George Melson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
