He was predeceased by: his mother Irene; his parents-in-law, Harold and Billie Jo Darby; and his sister Patsy Riedel Hunt. He is survived by: his wife Grace Darby Riedel; his sons, John Blair Riedel (Julie) and Harold Parrish Riedel (Susan); his grandchildren, Hudson Riedel, Virginia Riedel Hellmann (Jack), Julia Riedel and Ella Grace Riedel; and his great grandchild Mary Charles Hellmann.
