It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe D. Lorenzo of Florence, Alabama, who passed away on July 12, 2024, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Florentino "Flo" Lorenzo; and his nephew Allen Smith. He is survived by: his wife Rebekah Smith Lorenzo; his sons, Joseph, John Thomas and Jack Lorenzo; his mother Elaine Lorenzo; his sister Dr. Michelle "Shelly" Surbrook (Scott); and his nieces and nephews, Laney, Elizabeth, Harley Smith and Danielle Bogus.
In honor of his giving spirit, and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wilson High School Athletic Booster Club or Cumberland Heights Treatment Center in Nashville, TN.
