He is survived by: his wife Doris Staggs; his daughters, Melinda Thompson (Shane) and Kim Sanderson (Michael); his grandchildren, Chandler and Jamie Thompson; his pet Bella; and his sister Lola Staggs. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
