He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Benson and Freida Benson. He is survived by: his son Landyn Benson; his siblings, Charles Benson, Jr. (Sebrina), Alina McBrayer (Lloyd) and Shawna Dickerson (Chris); his nieces and nephews, Mac Seamons (Kayla), Chassity Staggs (Michael), Raylee Dickerson and Reagan Dickerson; his close friend Rusty DePoyster; and his cousin Jason Jackson.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Greenview Funeral Home (3657 Old Chisholm Rd, Florence, AL 35633). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Greenview Memorial Chapel (3657 Old Chisholm Rd, Florence, AL 35633).
