We are sad to announce that on December 19, 2023, at the age of 92, Janice Gullett Dobson Sandlin of Florence, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, W. R. Gullett Sr. and Virginia Power Gullett; her brother W. Roy Gullett Jr.; her former husband J. B. Dobson III; her husband Judson Fairfax Sandlin; her brother Robert L. Rutherford; her son David Sandlin (Karen) of Richardson, Texas; her sister-in-law Marjorie Dobson Norton; and also Evelyn Rutherford Gullett.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia Dobson Rigsby (Larry Rigsby) of Whitwell, Tennessee, Steven Marsh Sandlin (Carol) of Decatur and Dr Randall Sandlin (Linda) of Huntsville; her grandchildren, Amy Rigsby McGhee, Clay Rigsby, Layne Rigsby, Scott Sandlin, Allison Sandlin Liles, Bonnie Sandlin Rumsey, Peggy Sandlin Lindsley, Mary Katherine Stults, Austin Sandlin and Molly Sandlin; her sister Jane Gullett Weamer of Birmingham, Alabama; and her siblings-in-law, Martha Green Gullett of Tuscumbia and Bert Norton of Florence. She is also survived by Seventeen great grandchildren.
