Janet May Taylor Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet May Taylor in Florence, Alabama, who passed away on November 12, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Janet's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Janet has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Granville May and Ila Haddock May. She is survived by: her husband Mark Taylor; her children, Josh (Stacy) of Opelika, AL and Molly of Denver, CO; and her sisters, Bonnie O'Steen of Florence, AL, Debbie Heard of Decatur, AL and Amy Hudson of Birmingham, AL. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Auburn United Methodist Church (137 S Gay St, Auburn, AL 36830).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jan's honor to the Alzheimer's Association.
