He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Jones Kephart; his children, James Steven Kephart (Deborah), Thomas Keith Kephart (Brenda) and Robert Kent Kephart; and his grandchildren, James Steven Kephart Jr., Derek Thomas Kephart, Thomas Benjamin Kephart, Barbara Elizabeth Kephart and Jennifer Renee Gaither.
