He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Pickens Mangum; his parents, George W. Mangum and A. Mootelle Mangum; his sister Mary Eloise Roby (Toad); and his son-in-law Robert E. Moore.
He is survived by: his close friend Barbara Mabry; his children, Jim Mangum, Sam Mangum (Patti) and Caroline Moore; his grandchildren, Tom Mangum (Lindsey), Kyle Mangum (Jessica), Anna Glover (Kris), Mick Mangum and Jack Mangum; and his great grandchildren, William, Elizabeth Mangum, Grayson, Bennett Mangum, Elijah and Evan Glover.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Woodmont Baptist Church Mission Funds or Faith Church Kingdom Builders.
