He was predeceased by: his father James Frank; his wife Joyce Ann Clements Shipman; his mother Inez Marks Shipman; and his siblings, Frank Reid Shipman and Janice Shipman Crabtree.
He is survived by: his children, Bryan Keith Shipman (Gaylette), Rhonda Paige Shipman Wallace and Amy Leigh Shipman Lambright (Trevor); his grandchildren, Bryan Keith Shipman II (Ashley), Samuel Austin Wallace (Kenzi), Ann Leslie Wallace Mansell (Andrew), Catherine Ann Lambright Blurton (Austin), John Alexander Shipman, Abigale Reagan Shipman and Madeline Elizabeth Lambright; and his great grandchildren, Finn Ryker Shipman, Jace Wyatt Shipman, Charlie James Wallace, Whitten Neil Blurton and Banks Reid Blurton.
