She was predeceased by: her husband Roland Irons (Billy); her daughter Angela Johns; her grandsons, Travis Johnson and Ian Irons; her parents, Verta Woods and Dalton Woods; and her siblings, Reece Woods, Gerald Woods, Burr Woods, Louise Smith and Linda Rhinehart.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Johnson (Rufus) and Larry Irons (Sheri); her son-in-law Thomas D. Johns Jr.; her grandchildren, Andrea Hood (Darron), Thomas D. Johns III (Haleigh), Elle Irons (Michael), Leah Hargett (Blake) and Brian Johnson (Connie); her great grandchildren, Averee, Brody, Lilly Williamson, Evan, Emmett Hargett, Gabriel, Bradley, Michael, LeighLa, Thomas D. Johns, IV, Jessie Smith (Adam) and Brandi Johnson; and her siblings, Vella Mae Ezekiel, Margaret Hemric, Laura Bowers, Dalton Woods, Jr. (Barbara), Sylvia Steinhauser (Paul) and Cathy Olivo (Angelo). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Greenview Funeral Home (3657 Old Chisholm Rd, Florence, AL 35633). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Canaan Methodist Church (3000 Co Rd 189, Florence, AL 35633).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Canaan Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
