He was predeceased by: his wife Myra Ellis Harscheid; and his brother Eric Harscheid. He is survived by: his children, Holly Harscheid Walker (Jim) of Florence, Alabama and Roy Glenn Harscheid (Jennifer) of Florence, Alabama; his grandchildren, Meghan Walker, James Houston Walker, Landon Harscheid and Finley Harscheid; his brother David Harscheid (Ursula) of Wendell; and his niece Karla Harscheid.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens (2601 Florence Blvd, Florence, AL 35630).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the Parkinson's Foundation or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
