Frances Earline Phelps Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frances Earline Phelps of Florence, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 23, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce Malcolm Phelps, II; her parents, Jacob Berry and Alma Berry; her son Bruce Malcolm Phelps, III (Carolyn); her brother David Berry (Anne); her granddaughter Stephanie Phelps; and her great grandchild Ethan Reid Phelps Whiteside.
She is survived by: her daughters, Frances Barber (Marvin), Sheree Lavender and Marjorie Rivera (Ricardo "Poncho"); her siblings, Norman Berry (Carol) and Fana Smith; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Ellis (Aaron), Rebecca Phelps, Jonathan Porter, Joshua Barber (Casey), Clay Barber (Melissa), Kevin Barber (Keri), Caleb, Kyle Lavender, Brooke Rivera, Amanda Marks (Lucas), Madison Eddy Codi Rivera (Jordan), Haolin Xu (Jeff), Aaron Ellis, Jr. (Kaitlelyn), Ryan, Rachel, Hope Ellis, Ayden Textus, Grant, Stevie Barber, Issac Rivera, Eliza, Levi Eddy, Zion Rivera, Emmalynn, Ann Marks and Andrew Barkley.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Petersville Church of Christ (3601 Cloverdale Rd, Florence, AL 35633). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
