She was predeceased by: her husband Harvey Cain; her parents, Gladys Gist and Leonard Gist; her siblings, Movaline Young, Lucille Gladney, Debbie Phillips and Ozell Gist; and her grandson Nathan Martin.
She is survived by: her sons, Ernie Clemmons (Patricia) and Kevin Clemmons (Tammy); her grandchildren, Bethany Butler (Jason), Marissa Norton (Casey), Cortney Davis (Nathan), Seth Clemmons (Kristen) and Erin Gatlin (Tanner); her great grandchildren, Macie, Hagen Butler, Marlee Burden, Cade Norton, Alona, Hallie, Blakely Davis, Cam and Reagan Clemmons; her grandchildren, Ricky Cain (Suzanne), Randy Cain (Barbie), Pam White, Sheila Voss and Cody Martin (Lacey); and her brother Steve Gist. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Greenhill Funeral Home (8450 US-43, Florence, AL 35634). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Greenhill Funeral Home Chapel (8450 US-43, Florence, AL 35634).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Missions fund at Greenhill Baptist Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
