She was predeceased by: her parents, Lilly Hunt and Claude Hunt; her husband Leonard Thompson; her son Matthew Thompson; her daughter-in-law Luann Thompson; and her siblings, C. H., Grover Hunt and Lila Hunt Paper.
She is survived by: her son Stephen Thompson; her granddaughter Anna Catherine Riley (Dustin); her great grandchildren, Brantley, Maggie and Aubree; her grandchild Hillary Hines (Andy); her great grandchildren, Georgia and Annie; her grandson Nick Cumings (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Wyatt and Jordin; her granddaughter Erica Martinez (Willy); her great grandchildren, Antonio, Dominic, Juliana, Luca and Areli; her close friend Patty Danley; and her family, Jason, Ava and Chase.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Greenview Funeral Home (3657 Old Chisholm Rd, Florence, AL 35633). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenview Memorial Chapel (3657 Old Chisholm Rd, Florence, AL 35633).
