She was predeceased by: her husband Bud Barnes; and her parents, Edward Stricklin and Lillie Stricklin. She is survived by: her brother Charles Stricklin; her nephew Chris Stricklin; her great-nephew Michael Stricklin (Erica); her daughters, Belynda Taylor, Beth Ables (Jack) and Chris Poston (Dennis); and also Lily Stricklin. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Elizabeth's name, to the American Cancer Society.
