She was predeceased by: her son Danny Gist; her daughter-in-law Ann Hillis; and her parents, Dewey Johnson and Laura Johnson of Greenhill, AL.. She is survived by: her son Jerre Gist (Linda); her grandchildren, Tracy Perry (Terry), Amy Stubbs (Ray), Melissa Lyle, Jamie Hillis (Rachel) and Brianna Maharrey (Trey); her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Arledge (Stone), Daniel Stubbs (Kayla), Chandler Stubbs (Devon), Anna Lyle (Aaron Mashburn), Cooper Maharrey and Parker Maharrey; and her great great grandchildren, Halle Arledge and Brett Arledge. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
