He was predeceased by: his parents, Jodie Skipworth and Maxine Skipworth; and his siblings, Barbara Skipworth Coats and David L. Skipworth. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Brice Skipworth; his children, Allison Layport (Kenneth) and Jason Skipworth; and his grandchildren, Hannah Staggs and Brice Staggs.
A graveside service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenview Memorial Park (3657 Old Chisholm Rd, Florence, AL 35633).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
