She was predeceased by: her son Carter Price Thompson; and her siblings, Jim Martin and Connie Dreher. She is survived by: her husband Dr. James F. Thompson Jr. of Florence, AL.; her sons, James "Forrest" Thompson of Atlanta, GA and Dan Martin Thompson (Angela) of Huntsville, AL.; her sisters, Betty McGuire of Monticello, AR., Pat Nerren of Franklin, TN and Miss Myrna Martin of Franklin, TN; and her grandchildren, Nathan Thompson of Huntsville, AL., Natalie Thompson of Huntsville, AL. and Nicolas Thompson of Huntsville, AL.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that her friends and family members make a donation to the American Cancer Society or the charity of their choice.
