It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Shearer Peterman of Florence, Alabama, who passed away on June 5, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Daniel Shearer may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Peterman and Vera Peterman. He is survived by: his wife Sally Hutchison Peterman; his children, Holly Rickard (Mike), Danny T. Peterman, Shelley Durham (Alan) and Randy L. Peterman (Linda); and his brother John Peterman (Corlene). He is also survived by Seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
