He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Novak and Mary Agnes Novak; and his wife Judi Richard-Novak. He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Toni Lee Lewis of Carbondale, IL and Kerri Lynn McTigue of Bradenton, FL; his son David Richard of Ocala, FL; his siblings-in-law, Janice Dean of Norwalk, OH, Patricia Trickett of Norwalk, OH, Harold and Tricia Lewis of Florence, AL.; his granddaughter Toni; his great grandchildren, Kayla King, Ember Richard, Grayson Drake and Bryce Bedell; and also, Andrew Seaton, Britteney Bedell, Joseph Cresto (Deann Lynn), Kerri, Kurt Richard (Stacy), Austin Drake (Lauren) and Piper Bedell.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Church of the Good Shepherd (2001 Cloyd Blvd, Florence, AL 35630).
