With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Jean White of Florence, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 31, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Sterling White; her parents, Bertha Jones and Roy Pruitt; and her half-brother Jerry Pruitt. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Fountain and Mark White (Beverly); her grandsons, Nick Fountain and Joshua White (Cassandra); her great grandchildren, Averil, Katherine, Henry, Marshall and Thomas; her brother A. D. Pruitt; and her half-siblings, Danny Pruitt and Nancy Mabe.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Greenview Funeral Home (3657 Old Chisholm Rd, Florence, AL 35633). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greenview Memorial Chapel (3657 Old Chisholm Rd, Florence, AL 35633).
