He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert E. Taylor and Bennie Taylor; his siblings, Marvin Oneal Taylor (Martha Jean Taylor), Gilbert Junior Taylor (Lois Richardson Taylor), Sparkie Gene Taylor (Berline Hester Taylor), Tommie Farice Taylor (Reba Mae Taylor), Betty Elizabeth Taylor McCaig (Joyce Annette Smith) and Nolan Smith; and his daughter Janet Marie Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, Alice Crookshanks (Dan) of Vienna, WV, Nina Rieben (Derek) of Huntsville, AL, David Taylor (Kim) of Senoia, GA and Barbara McDaniel; his brother-in-law Wayne McCaig; his grandchildren, Michael Kibbe (Sheri), Chad Kibbe (Marteen), Jera Rieben, Matthew Taylor (Haley), Bethany Crookshanks, Alex Taylor and Jonathan Crookshanks; and his great grandchildren, Madison Kibbe, Eli Kibbe, Mason Miller, Audree Miller and Paisley Rae Kenum.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Colbert Memorial Gardens (700 US-43, Tuscumbia, AL 35674).
