We are sad to announce that on August 23, 2023, at the age of 79, Bettye Ruth Solomon Richards in Florence, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Clyde Solomon and Mamie Ruth George Solomon; her husband Gilbert Issac Richards; her children, Cheryl Green and Billy Dean McClure; and her siblings, Bobby Joe Solomon, Robert Clyde Solomon and Faye Pressnell.
She is survived by: her children, Gilbert Issac Richards, Jr. of Madison, VA and Angela Ruth Green of Decatur, AL; and her sister Linda Huff (Bobby G.) of Decatur, AL. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
