He was predeceased by: his wives, Shirley Wells, Martha Wells and Dorothy Wells; his parents, A. P. Wells and Velma Wells; and his brothers, Doug, Charles and Billy Wells.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda and Lisa Wells; and his siblings, Hoyt Wells and Dorothy Franks.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Greenview Funeral Home (3657 Old Chisholm Rd, Florence, AL 35633). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greenview Memorial Chapel (3657 Old Chisholm Rd, Florence, AL 35633).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
