She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clarence and Annie Davis Grissom; her husband Jimmy White; and her daughter Shirley Cottingham. She is survived by: her children, Peggy Thatcher (Howard), Mary Cottingham (Tim), Ricky White (Laurie) and Johnny White (Frances); and her brothers, Amos Grissom (Vickie) and Wilburn Grissom. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lawrence Funeral Home (12950 AL-157, Moulton, AL 35650). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM.
