She was predeceased by: her parents, George Franklin Schofield and Gussie Brown Schofield; her husband Vinson E Adams Jr.; and her son Durwood Adams. She is survived by: her daughter Patsy Blackshear; her grandchildren, Steve Wilkerson (April), Nick Bedsole, Dale Bedsole, Scott Adams and Douglas Adams; and her great grandchildren, Andrew Douglas Adams and Douglas Vincent Adams Jr..
