He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Gillman and Versie Bell Paul Gillman; his wife Mae Gillman; his son-in-law Danny Parmer; and his grandson Joshua Lee Prevatt.
He is survived by: his children, Tommy Edward Gillman, John Hudson, Joyce Clark (Ricky), Nancy Parmer and Wendy Gautney (William). He is also survived by great grandchildren.
