As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Vivian Scheffer Morrison; and his children, Donald, Kathy and Debbie. He is survived by: his brother Forrest Scott Morrison; his spouse Navis Scheffer Morrison; and his son Kenneth Wayne Morrison.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery (23593 Fifth Ave, Florala, AL 36442).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in John's memory to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
