He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Kilmer, Sr. and Sarah Kepner Kilmer; his son John M. Kilmer, III; and his siblings, Steven Kilmer, Mary Myers and Nora Holden.
He is survived by: his wife Nicky Kilmer of Florala; his daughter Leslie Ringuette (Roger) of Abilene, Texas; his sisters, Lorena Gardner of Marsh Hill and Millie Kilmer of Williamsport, Pennsylvania; his sisters-in-law, Diana Stone of Springfield, Carla Kuza (John) of Agawam and Jane Pierce (Don) of Westfield, Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Jake Ringuette of Abilene, Texas., Jessie Ringuette of Abilene, Texas. and Jaime Ringuette of Abilene, Texas.; and his great grandchildren, Ridley and Wheeler. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
