He was predeceased by: his wife Anne D. Gantt; his parents, Tom Gantt and Mae Belle Gantt; his daughter Amanda Gantt Jensen; and his son-in-law Derrick Jensen.

He is survived by: his daughter Gretchen Gantt Franco; and his grandchildren, Davis Gantt Jensen and Alexis Franco.
