He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Stokes and Rosie Stokes of Paxton; his wife Marie Harrison Stokes; his stepson Kenny Wayne Harrison; and his brothers, Milford Stokes, John Stokes and Ricky Stokes.
He is survived by: his children, Roger Williams of Geneva, Gary Joe Williams of Samson and Victoria Wallace (Lee) of Andalusia; his stepchildren, Donna Jowers of Florala, Betty Qualls (Mike) of Laurel Hill and Carlton Palmer of Florala; his siblings, Jeanette Schofield of Lockhart, Joe Stokes (Micki) of Pascagoula, MS and Rocky Stokes (Mary) of Paxton; and also, Florene Rogers of Geneva and Juanita Welch Snipes of Florala. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
