He is survived by: his children, Rea Strickland (Billy) of Enterprise, AL, Clyde Bass (Delores) of Crestview, FL and John Bass of Mobile, AL; his grandchildren, Tracy Fountain (LaDel) of Baker, FL, Todd Strickland (Sharon) of Hoover, AL, Beth Strickland (Josh) of Austin, TX, John Bass Jr. (Emily) of Mobile, AL and Jessica Bass of Mobile, AL; his daughter-in-law Dianne Bass; his great grandchildren, Finn, Ryder Strickland, Emmy, Clover Fountain, John Fendley, Ellie and Shepard Bass; and his sisters, Mary Kelly of Florala, AL and Joy Paul of Baker, FL.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
