He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Lee McDougald and Dora Francis Sellers McDougald; his wife Lou McDougald; and his siblings, Archie Lee (McDougald, Jr.), Barbara Weeks and Betty Kyser.
He is survived by: his children, Janet Hataway (David) of Enterprise, Marc McDougald (Lynn) of Enterprise, Patrick McDougald of Florala and Steven McDougald (Krystal McDougald Tyrell) of Miami; and his siblings, Don Jerry McDougald (Sybil), Jeanette Brooks and Linda Chavers. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
