He was predeceased by: his parents, Griffin Cassady and Margie Paul Cassady; his son Brian Stephens; and his siblings, Arron Cassady and Madlyn McCoy.

He is survived by: his wife Janice Cassady; his daughter Debbie Dailey (Michael); and his grandsons, Forrest and Kage Wibbing. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
